Hello there, I’m Russel Donahue. I’m an artist inspired to bring dreams to life.

I was born in Ventura, CA, on February 12th, 1991 and my ancestry includes Irish, Arabic, English, and Scottish. I began my journey in the entertainment business at age 11 when I was in multiple films created and directed by my brother, Michael Donahue, an aspiring filmmaker. As a child, I always had a passion for entertaining as I was in several school plays and would write and draw my own comic book collection, with all my own original characters. I also started playing guitar and bass at an early age and still practice daily.

After high school, I put myself through college while attending the Cal-State Channel Islands and received my BS in Business Management and Marketing in 2016. Showing little interest in the life of business and the corporate world after college, I changed direction to follow my true passion, being in film and television. Since then, I have studied at the Ventura Actors Studio (VAS) under instructor Gina Nemo and have taken several other on-camera classes to develop my talents over the years. I got my first start when I played a lead role in a TV pilot directed by Gina Nemo. From then on I have been featured in several independent films and have appeared on national commercials.
